The Air Quality Advisory from noon today Thursday April 11, 2019 until noon tomorrow Friday April 12, 2019 is GREEN.

The green advisory means:                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                              All woodstoves, pellet stoves and fireplaces may be used inside and outside the air quality zone. 

    1. Use only seasoned dry wood.
    2. Outdoor burning is not allowed in the air quality zone.  
    3. Residential outdoor burning is allowed in the communities of Chiloquin, Sprague River, Beatty, Bly and Northern Klamath County. Please check with your local Fire District prior to burning. Burning within residential areas should be avoided, if the smoke impacts neighborhoods.  

         The 2019 Spring open burning window within Klamath County begins 8 a.m. Saturday, April 13, and ends 5 p.m. Sunday, April 28.
