As per KlAMATH COUNTY ORDINANCE 406.100:
ALL WOODSTOVES, PELLET STOVES AND FIREPLACES MAY
BE USED iNSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE AQ ZONE The 2017 Spring Open burn window began
April 1st and ends Today sunday april 16, 2017
Outdoor burning is allowed today throughout
the county. Only
residential yard waste, such as tree limbs, brush, and leaves may be burned.
all burning must be fully extinguished by 5 p.m. no plastic, rubber, tar,
patroleum products, treated or painted wood may be burned. the use of burn
barrells is prohited inside the air quality zone. we recommend that
you check with your local fire district prior to burning, because some
Fire Districts require a permit to burn.
Today is the last day of the 2017 SPRING open
burn ends April 16, 2017.
ONLY USE SEASONED
DRY WOOD IN YOUR WOODSTOVES.
