The AQ Advisory from noon SUNDAY February 21, 2016 until Noon on MONDAY February 22, 2016 is YELLOW.  

 

 

The YELLOW advisory call means:

 

as per klamath county Ordinance # 406.150 (1)(B) ONLY CERTIFIED WOODSTOVEs, PELLET STOVES AND CERTIFIED FIREPLACE INSERTS MAY BE USED  WITHIN THE AQ ZONE,

 

as per klamath county Ordinance # 406.150 (1)(B) THE USE OF NON-CERTIFIED WOODSTOVEs OR FIREPLACES is PROHIBITED  WITHIN THE AQ ZONE

 

OUTSIDE THE AQ ZONE, ALL WOODSTOVES, PELLET STOVES AND FIREPLACES MAY BE USED.

 

Residential outdoor or open burning is allowed in the communities of chiloquin, sprague river, beatty, bly and northern klamath county, however  burning inside residential areas  should be avoided if smoke is impacting neighborhoods per klamath county ordinance 406.250(1)(e). Outdoor burning is not allowed in other areas of klamath county per klamath county ordinance 406.100(4)(a)
