As per KlAMATH COUNTY ORDINANCE 406.100:
ALL WOODSTOVES, PELLET STOVES AND FIREPLACES
MAY BE USED iNSIDE AND OUTSIDE THE AQ ZONE
Outdoor burning is allowed today throughout
the county. Only
residential yard waste, such as tree limbs, brush, and leaves may be burned.
all burning must be fully extinguished by 5 p.m. no plastic, rubber, tar,
patroleum products, treated or painted wood may be burned. the use of burn
barrells is prohited inside the air quality zone. Due to the forecasted high
winds today, we recommend that you check with your local fire district prior to
burning.
the 2016 fall open burn ends november 6, 2016.
ONLY USE SEASONED
DRY WOOD IN YOUR WOODSTOVES.
